Late-1980s Japanese consumer electronics as found on a cramped Tokyo repair bench at night: warm beige, putty-grey and charcoal plastics, brushed aluminium faceplates, black knobs with silver skirts, small green and amber indicator lamps, chunky toggle switches, printed white and orange legends. Used-but-cared-for condition: light scuffs, finger-worn edges, faint dust in seams, a little yellowing on beige plastic, no heavy rust. Realistic mid-level detail. Every brand mark reads only 'SORANO' (the kit's fictional maker); labels may also carry small Japanese katakana text.
